Inspiration for this collection comes from the starry nights off the west coast of Africa, where Jari worked aboard a cruise ship.
During those cruises, the star constellation Southern Cross was always visible. Combining four pieces of marquise cut blue topaz, our ‘Southern Cross’ pendant became first piece in this collection.
Later, we added the 'Northern Star' ring and the ‘Shooting Star’ diamond and topaz earrings. The diamond represents the star and the white gold tail of the shooting star bends over the blue topaz.
The last piece in this collection, the 'Otava' bracelet, combines seven marquise cut blue topaz to represent the seven stars in the constellation Otava (the Big Dipper).
Every stone in this collection is carefully selected for its correct cutting proportion, color and good polish.
